January already came and went.

Finally: a month to work.

January’s big downside for me is that it’s……MY BIRTHDAY.

The weeks before my birthday, I typically go through the yin/yang conundrum of me trying to keep the lid on of anyone knowing it’s my birthday.... but then again—heaven forbid, if you didn’t send me a bday text (and you know who you are).

So for my 60th (yes the dreaded 6-OH), I decided to avoid the birthday greetings by finally getting my Elvis experience in before it's too late. Yes, Graceland, Beale Street, Sun Studio, Stax and BBQ/Southern Food-all in Memphis.

Yet, naturally, the weather reports showed that we would end up staying in the hotel snowed in the entire time so we made a split 2nd call and cancelled our flight, hotel, and rebooked for NOLA. After a bunch of old school jazz, antiquing for some jewelry and the inhaling the traditional grub, I was ready for a stomach pump.

But here's what you're really interested in...

If you or someone you know has taken Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or similar weight loss drugs, you need to pay attention.

There are now over 3,000 lawsuits pending against Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, and a brand new MDL was just created in December for vision loss claims specifically. The allegations? These companies knew their drugs could cause serious problems and didn't adequately warn doctors or patients.

Here's what qualifies you to potentially file a claim:

You took a GLP-1 drug like Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, or Trulicity, and you developed gastroparesis (stomach paralysis), severe bowel obstruction, ileus, pancreatitis, or sudden vision loss from something called NAION.

The FDA just added new warnings about severe pancreatitis and kidney injuries, and European regulators are warning that these drugs double the risk of permanent vision loss.

Bellwether trials are expected by mid-2026. If you've got a legitimate injury, now is the time to talk to a lawyer and get your claim documented before the litigation matures.
